Welcome to Week 2. This week we will deal with Meal Plans, Snacking and Water, but we will start with water.

Water is extremely important to our bodies. Without it, we only last 3 days. Food, we can go without for 30 days. That is a sure indication of how important water is. No, I never said liquid. all liquids are not equal.
Drinking other liquids like soft drinks, tea, coffee and energy drinks, although they provide your body with liquid, your kidneys and liver have to remove all the extra \"chemicals\" from the drink. These types of drinks place a lot of extra \"load\" on your organs.
The moral of the story is to drink at least 1 litre of pure water daily, more if you can. You need at least 2 ltrs of liquid a day, preferably water. This helps you kidneys flush away the unwanted products and helps replace liquid lost through sweat etc.
Eating Plans
Snacking is not a Taboo. You just have to snack correctly. If you plan your snacks and ensure that you include the snacks in the monthly groceries. When you are peckish and you have the healthy snacks in the cupboard, you will not have a problem.
